  1. so he'll comeback next season spectacularly like Ellsbury did.
  2. And so did Yankees' interest/efforts. Red Sox drop 2 so we know the offense will resurge strong next 2+ games, right? and what an awesome night for Baltimore to beat the Yankees.
  3. 12 pitches for Wake, I like it.
  4. 8 pitch inning for Floyd, yikes.
  5. Tito, w/e. And yes, I guess it is better to rest and be safe with our expensive RBI Machine. I just want the Sox to beat the Sox. They always f*** us up.
  6. Sorry guys, that lineup is INCORRECT. Gonzo is scratched with a sore neck (wtf? get over it you get paid 150 million $) Jacoby Ellsbury, CF Dustin Pedroia, 2B David Ortiz, DH Kevin Youkilis, 1B Josh Reddick, RF Carl Crawford, LF Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C Drew Sutton, 3B Marco Scutaro, SS Not sure (with Gonzo out) why Theo didn't put Pedroia in the #4 spot and Reddick/Sutton/Scoot in the #2 -- Pedroia thrives @ #4 Sadly, I have to watch the Giants Vs. Reds on MLB network. Well, I like watching the Giants, a lot, so... Guess I need to buy MLB.TV now!!
  7. Where do you find stats like that? Baseball-Reference?
  8. It's all gonna happen in the next 48-hours and probably in the last 5 of those 48.
  9. Buch isn't going to get checked till Monday!? Geeze. Fly him out to LA now, jesus.
  10. I don't think we'll sweep the Yanks again. 2 out of 3 probz
  11. Current Red Sox hit streaks: Dustin Pedroia - 25 games, 44 hits, 9 HR, 20 RBI, 12 BB, .404/.459/.752 Jacoby Ellsbury - 10 games, 19 hits, 4 HR, 11 RBI, 4 BB, .452/.489/.810 Adrian Gonzalez - 8 games, 18 hits, 0 HR, 9 RBI, 3 BB, .529/.564/.559 Jarod Saltalamacchia - 6 games, 9 hits, 2 HR, 7 RBI, 0 BB, .346/.346/.577 That's quite a list right there. Go Sox. f*** up the other Sox!
  12. Baseball-Reference is showing me Pedroia's WAR @ 5.9 behind Bautista's 6.7 I would say all three of those guys being at the top of the order is the most important part of the Red Sox besides pitching. Ellsbury had 50 steals ('08), 70 ('09), injury season, and now he as 29. C'monnn, I love watching Ells steal.
  13. Ubaldo now would be amazing. Felix during the off-season would be extraordinarily phenomenal. Bedard could be a good addition. He is averaging exactly 6.0 innings per start this season and average 5.8 over his career. Average of 3.00 ERA over his career, too. Could be good for the season. C'mon Bucholz!! Lucky post .406
  14. Buchholz might not pitch again this season in the ML! -- Let's keep our thought positive for him though b/c he could come back strong, he has the potential to come back this season -- However, we need to bring in a high-caliber pitcher right NOW. We're looking for a consistent 3.30-4.00 ERA to be our #4/5. C'mon Tito. Get someone! Sunday is the deadline! -- Patriots are getting down on the other side of the board.
  15. I hope Theo doesn't actually go after the Mariners guy. Honestly, we should just throw w/e it takes at Ubaldo. He could shine on the Red Sox. We need pitching. This year we have a huuuge chance the WS. Sox vs Giants 2011!!
  16. I hate to be the negative nancy but I can see a small loosing streak about to happen. We suck Vs. the White Sox.
  17. lol Navarro. CC came so close.... Ugh... I hate losing so much I dont care how in frequent it is for the Red Sox. Oh well, f***. At least Muddy Chicken got to 25. No run support for Beckett again... though you'd think 2 would be enough.
  18. I believe in you Crawford! You can do it~!!!!!!!!!
