    Way too much pessimism. If you "hate everything about this season" you should stop watching the games. Don't spend 3+ hrs most days doing something you hate.

    This lefty we're facing tonight has been damn good his last (all of his?) 9 starts so far. Red Sox have been clobbering LH pitchers but I won't be surprised if the bats go cold, I hope not though!

    Now I understand. I don't think it's a big deal anyway. Shoppach is producing above what we thought he would and so is Salty who almost got into the All-Star game. No reason to take them out right now. Lavs might as well get as much experience as everyday catcher as he can in AAA before shifting to the majors.
