  1. I knew it. Remy's going senile.
  2. How Lackey Got His Groove Back...
  3. Well that puts a bit of a damper on the running game if that s*** doesn't get called.
  4. This wasn't what I had in mind when I said I was hoping to not be up all night...
  5. Great day for Lackey to make a rebound start and get some momentum; facing a former division rival that he's done well against and riding a 3 game winning streak. Win! Oh, and please play Jebediah.
  6. I'm a fan of mountain time. Most of the games start right as I'm settling in after work, and even the west coast games are not unreasonably late. I can typically catch the whole thing and still be in bed by 11-11:30.
  7. and Lowrie did it without Cameron Diaz.
  8. If you had told me before the season that Ells would have 4 home runs, Jebediah would be batting .900 or something, Beckett would have returned to his old self, and Lester would have shed his April woes, yet we would be 4-10 after 2 weeks, I probably would have laughed at you and stolen your crack.
  9. Prince Fielder wishes he could be that jacked.
  10. After 89 pitches and a bloody 1-hitter?
  11. Bout time we had one of those that was in our favor.
  12. Yeah, it's because it's point-to-point (with a net downhill), not to mention today's race was more than wind-aided. Either way it's unfathomable to see that kind of time on a course like Boston. It would be like Jed Lowrie hitting for the cycle every day for a week (which I guess isn't that hard to imagine these days). And I thought last year's 2:05 course record would be untouchable for awhile.
  13. "a lot of good things happened today." -Tito
  14. Being a Kenyan and having a 25mph tailwind helps!
  15. There was a world record set in the marathon too. There's all sorts of ass-raping going on in Boston today.
  16. league MVP for april? (Lowrie, not Crawford)
  17. Nice! We were overdue for ninja Dice-K to make an appearance. Would it be possible to clone Jed Lowrie and have him hit in all 9 spots? I look forward to the post-game Tito sound byte: "I think probably you want to try to get him in there."
  18. Jesus H. Christ, is Jed f***ing Lowrie raking it in April or what?
  19. Great news! He has impressed so far and seems like a real professional.
  20. JT was a hell of a lot better #5 starter than what we've been getting lately. And more entertaining to boot. Just sayin'
  21. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb162/pknight212/clay.jpg Win.
  22. I'm not worried about Crawford. Some people make the adjustment more quickly than others, and he's had the misfortune of having to face a couple tough lefties early on. IIRC, people were saying the same things about Adrian Beltre early on last year and well, we saw the end result of that.
