Why is not Sweeney in the lineup?

Great Victory. Our offense was spectacular. Ortiz is a beast. They really made my day. This kid Sweeney is surprising me a lot, hopefully he continues this way. Buch was much better. An spectacular day.

I just wonder how are we going to back up Ell's numbers No one in the bench can. On the other hand our pitching could counterbalance this issue. I could understand (but not agree) FO's strategy about pitching/DH/Closer/SS situation but this was simply unexpected (of course, needs to be confirmed)... unless our pitching balance this team for once and for all, or our fututure could be in big jeopardy.

Call me crazy but IMO these Rays is the most balanced team in the majors. Their pitching is arguably the best in the league and have an average offense which is enough to win games. This series could be a good thermometer and very fun to watch. Pound these young men and win!

I tend to agree with pumpsie's baseball perspective. He is a great and knowledgeable poster. On the other hand VA is a very nice poster. I like both. Is there a possibility you guys shake hands?
