Salud compadre, enjoy your drink and do not worry about the Sox. It is going to be a tough year for our rotation for sure but as I said if they s*** the bed probably next year they will finally grab a couple of solid pitchers. BTW... Are you ready for FM?

Con respecto a los mexicanos en la MLB, yo espero un buen año del Titán, Romo, Gallardo; quizás el charro de GDL González pueda tener un buen año. No sé si Ramiro continuará con Atlanta. No sé si Soria ya esté al 100, pero si es así, podría tener un buen regreso también.

Bingo. This is why I'm not against all $/long contracts, although there is always a risk involved. Also this is why I think it was a mistake letting walk Lester and pass on Shields.

Do not take me wrong I would have preferred Shields over Hamels all the way, but that is not what I'm disputing here.

You just can't. You are saying that "31 is the "exit stage right" period of a player's prime". On the other hand you were all-in for Shields who is not 31 but 33. Where is your common sense here? Then you said that 80 million over 4 years is not an obscene amount of money for a pitcher. Then I challenged that argument asking you why would you even give 80 M to a guy who is not 31 but 33 if he would eventually s*** the bed... considering that "31 is the "exit stage right" period of a player's prime". I'm not insulting you nor starting a flame war over this, I just find funny the contradictions here.

if money had not been the problem then they should have signed Lester or Shields, don't you think?, and they are far better than Dempster. While they have money, it is always about the money.

MLBTR would not be my source to confirm my assumption. All I'm doing is guessing just as everyone else. Aside Amaro and the teams involved, Nobody knows what is going on with Hamels status these days. As I said if Lee is healthy I think more teams will emerge and try to sign him.

Cop-out? Haha nahhh So what you are saying is that we are the only team who is pushing for Hamels right now?. You can guess, but you do not have facts. As I said, if Lee is healthy I see at least the teams that are interested in Hamels pushing for Lee.

If Lee is healthy and shows that in ST, I see a lot of teams interested in him. If so... Money is not the only thing that is going to be attached to him.
