    Cora keeps putting Weissert in high leverage situations where he he has proven over and over he simply sucks.

    Bello simply can't finish batters. A lot of times ahead in the counts but ends up losing the battles because he doesn't trust in his stuff. Guy is and always will be a mediocre pitcher.

    Thus far Bello, Oviedo and Suarez didn’t look good at all. Suarez is going to be fine but the other two are really concerning. OTOH Early looked pretty well. It’s obviously early but the kid probably will end up as our No. 3.

    Whata I read is that the meeting between Devers and John Henry didn’t go well in KC regarding the 1B drama. After that meeting John Henry wanted him gone and asked Breslow to trade his ass ASAP no matter what. We’ll never know for sure though.

    Mmm IDK man. If you produce and you are not a cancer in the lockerroom it’s hard to justify that kind of trade based on financial operations. IMO this was nothing but a ego issue by both sides. Money was not the issue IMO, Devers was kind of earning his paycheck.

    Bingo! They just wanted that prima donna gone regardless the return. They wouldn’t have traded Devers in the first place If he had shown some teammate attitude.

    We literally went from Ketel Marte to Alex Bregman to Bo Bichette to Nico Hoerner to Isaac Paredes to Eugenio Suarez to Isiah Kiner-Falefa. What in the hell are we doing? Fire this f***ing 3rd world GM already.

    They had the opportunitty to address the 2B & power-bat holes through FA AND keep their current prospects to keep developing and they didn't. Seems like they are going to test the current youngsters for once and for all especially Campbell and Mayer along with Abreu and Rafaella, and see who can really stick moving forward. The way I see it the WS window is officially open for the next 5 years. My guess is they are going to go for all until next year hoping some of these youngsters are for real and see which holes they still have to address. Said that, on paper this is still a good team, especially at pitching, --not very good though-- to at the very least make the playoffs via WC, but there's no way they are legit to contend for the WS now. Offense is significantly worse (without Devers and Bregman) and the pitching is also significantly better (with Gray and Suárez) than last year.
