Rafaela is still on swing-at-everything mode -
I thought we might never lose again lol The debacle started when Bennett couldn't make that out at home and the game was still 2-0 vs A's. Also there's an unwritten rule in baseball; you don't sit ppl when they are on a hitting streak. They sat Durbin and Monasterio and the rest is history.

As I said earlier he’s on swinging at everything mode again. He should take a day or two to reset.

Rafaela's "swinging at everything" mode is back. Give him a couple of days off to refocus in his pitching recognition.

After today's game I have two things clear. White can't hit at all and should be DFAed and Slaten is not a high leverage reliever pitcher anymore.

Burgos is better than Weisert. Not even close.

Exactly. At some points IMO it has been 100% mental. His BABIP wasn’t helping either.

Wonder whether someone has told Duran that he has to stop swinging at fastballs up the strike zone in a regular basis. It’s absurd how much he chases those and misses.

Have no idea why Rogers was batting under Mendoza but his presence and discipline at the plate look great to my ears in these 2 couple of games.

Weissert has been a disappointment this season. Hopefully he stays there and this guy Burgos is better.

IMO that pitching staff is the best in the NL. It is better and deeper than last year. If somehow they finally hit in PO, they are going to be unstoppable. The latter is a big IF though,

IMO MIL will win the NL this year. The Cubs and Atlanta are close though.

Btw Campbell is hitting 398 in the last 18 games. Arias is also smashing the ball. Seems like literally all stars are aligning for us.

Yet MIL is the best team in baseball by record. It’s crazy the job they are doing in the minors. I think It’s turning into a win-win trade.

Guy has been doing a tremendous job, that’s for sure. Manager of the year already? Hands down to me.

Durbin is hitting what, 400 in the last month? Simply ridiculous, especially in clutch moments.

I was always all in to keep him in the BP, when it started to work, then they put him again in the rotation and s*** the bed —-again. Then they put him again as a long reliever and the rest is history.
