  1. LOL! My wife said the same.
  2. Well, I think I would. Would you? Buch is done.
  3. Me alegra. Yo aquí regresando de Cancún y esperando a que comience el juego de beis.
  4. The logic answer is yes. I just want to see him spending more time with the big guys and figure out for once and for all what we are going to do with this guy, but based on a fair sample. IMO I still think that he is a better bet than Young -even with his current numbers in AAA-, but that's me.
  5. Hi elk. How are u doing man? I don't have a clue how Cherington got to the conclusion that this guy is 70 M worthy money. Surely he had a case but at this point it seems so fragile.
  6. Exactly. You have a luxury in AAA who arguably showed something -whatever that means- when the Red Sox scouted him. I say let him play for once and for all.
  7. If Buch shits the bed against Atlanta he must be DFA.
  8. Castillo needs for once and for all a full year playing almost every game, otherwise he is going to oxidize.
  9. I'd rather Castillo over Young any day of the week. Btw how long is Castillo going to stay in AAA? Whata waste of money.

    Celtics

Celtics collapsed badly after a encouraging start.
  11. This! Price will use this game to regain confidence moving forward.
  12. We need a sweep in this series, you are not going to find so many bad teams going forward. Price redeems himself and hang a 0 through 8 IP tonight.
  13. This. Also new members seem nice and bring interesting things to the table. Welcome.
  14. You just need 2 baserunners and 2 HR in different IP to drive your ERA north. He has posted above 14% HR/FB% in 3 of his 7 years of duty. 2016? 21% thus far. Say he normalizes that number to his 12% career HR/FB%; it still awful.
  15. If you want a low ERA it is when your HR/FB% is high, like in Porcello's case.
  16. Hopefully you are right Fred.
  17. The context is that he is not going to be a 3.5 ERA pitcher. His K/BB is meaningless if he can't settle down his HR/FB %.
  18. Regarding Porcello? LOL! Well, I still think that Porcello is a pitcher around 4.5 ERA; a 4.0 ERA at best. Last night he faced arguably the weakest lineup in baseball. Is he a 3.51 ERA pitcher? No way. i.e. IMO he is going to allow 3-4 runs per night through 5-7 IP all year which is an improvent of what he did last year, but a performance which still won't justify his contract. We'll see, though. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  19. Yep. Closers' main KPI is SV%. I don't care their velocity, repertory, ERA, K/W, FIP, WAR, FGH$&$, etc. as long their SV% is over 90%.
  20. Time to redeem yourself against your former team, Craig.
  21. Well, it speaks volumes of how bad the braves are going to be this year.
  22. Horseface Ross made the job somehow, great! LOL! Time to make some R insurance.
  23. I don't trust in Ross but we'll see.
