    Yeah! Last year I attended Fenway, the week when the Red Sox faced the Yankees and the Cubs. It was awesome; a life time expirence I would say but probably in Wrigley could be special as well. I’d like to expirence one game in those roofs outside Wrigley, it has always been a curiosity to me watch a game from there LOL.

    I’m waiting a Cubs vs Red Sox series in Wrigley. I’m going to do whatever it takes to assist LOL! Wrigley and Jet Blue Park are in my bucket list.

    LOL! Probably, but is great to see tons of families, kids, women, etc following a baseball team regardless it is Wrgley or other park. Also, go to a baseball game these days is not cheap. Almost every park in Ft Myers and Arizona are sold outs LOL. Seems like everybody is in vacations this time of the year in the US. Cool! Even in soccer, just few teams invade away stadiums as the Cubs fan do.

    Our fan base is great but recently the invasions of Cubs fans in almost every park is simply admirable.

    Did you see the invasion of Cubs fans at jet blue park in both days? Last year in Fenway was the same. I was there —also you could see tons of cubs fans in restaurants, bars and in all kind of public places across the city of Boston. Probably they have the largest and the most loyal fans in baseball. Simply incredible.

    That’s a pretty good staff, Ted. I could be interested in Severino, but not sure if I can match him with a closer.

    While this is ST I’m not seeing an improvement in Porcello’s performance. Not sure what he is trying to do in order to better this season. He went through a lot of ups and downs —just like last season. He needs to be more consistent.

    So you are going to take only the year he performed well in Tigers uniform? LOL! In Tigers uniform he sucked —4/5 bad seasons In Red Sox uniform, well, he sucks too —2/3 bad seasons. I concur with Ted. A 4.3 ERA pitcher isn’t good by any means, at least not in my book.

    In Tigers uniform he sucked in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, and he was very good in 2014. Benny the Boo considered only that year to make his case and offered him without hesitate 80 M. A year later, when Porcello sucked, The Boo was fired —among other things.

    LOL! It doesn't matter how hard they try to sugar coat it, Porcello has sucked in 2 out of 3 seasons in Boston Red Sox uniform, and he has sucked in 6 out of his 8 career seasons. He is not a good pitcher by any means. Also, I wonder whether his prime has already passed or he is in decline. Some said that his prime started in 2015 when he joined the Red Sox. Said that, hopefully he makes the adjustments and at least post something 9.5% HR/FB% otherwise he will be in trouble again.

    I've been saying this for a long time. The key for Porcello is his HR/FB%. If he is around 9.5%, you will see a solid No. 2 pitcher in the rotation. If he can't keep the ball in the park and keeps posting those horrendous 14+% HR/FB% (which will be an up-hill battle in the ALE for him), he will suck again. i.e. If his sinker doesn't sink, he will be in trouble. His fastball is a blank check. Only 30% of his pitches last year were sinkers, while in 2016 the percentage was 40, when he against odds won the Cy Young —although his BABIP/LOB% were the lowest/highest of his career (269/74). The lucky dragons taxed him in 2017. IMHO and as I said before... the coaching staff can't do much to improve this guy since the talent simply isn't there. Hopefully and at least the lucky dragons (BABIP/LOB) favor him again this year, like they did in 2016.

    because he won 22 games in 2016 —a fluke year. In 2017 and 2015 he won 19 and LOST 32! If you think Porcello is a Cy Young caliber pitcher, be my guest. He's not going to post 22 Ws again. If he posts what his career suggests —W/L 53%— I will not be pleased but it will be a huge improvement considering what he delivered in 2015 and 2017.
