Friedman in LA did it when they needed (Mookie)—unlike in TB where he couldn't even he wanted.
Bloom is his guy and is in the same scenario. IMO he won't hesitate if he sees a legit chance to win it all.
If the Sox are in the mix in the division by Summer, I like our chances to win it because I believe they will splash and add some master pieces where needed before the trade deadline, making this team even more dangerous.
Sox are taking one day at a time. There’s no pressure in that locker room. Cora knows it and is using it as an advantage to take the best of every single member. This ain’t a team of stars but a team of men.
Well these days you can earn a ring with a 60-game season, so earning a no-no in a 7-inning game shouldn't be an issue.
Call me an old fashion man all you want but I don't like where baseball is moving forward.
I liked what I saw in ST. Not sure whether Puello, Muñoz and even Chavis have his upside. The truth is that we need an OF badly. Have a lot of faith on the kid. Renfroe is an automatic out.
This is what I’d do after see what I’ve seen.
DFA Tylor. Call up Houk and open a spot for him in the rotation. Move Richards to pen.
Call up Duran already. He’s ready. Nothing more to probe in minors. Sit Renfroe and use his bat for platoon situations. Same for Cordero.
Arroyo has to play every day. You can’t miss that bat.
Stop using Ottavino and a Hernández in high-leverage situations. Use the Japanese and Whitlock for those situations instead.
Other than that I’d go like this in a regular basis.
