    As long as I know there's no evidence of the Sox cheating. Neither player nor member of the coaching staff and FO were suspended. OTOH The Astros accepted publicly they cheated reason why MLB suspended people there. Putting in the same sentence the Astros and the Sox makes me puke lol

    I will love this lineup Arroyo Verdugo Martinez Xander Devers Renfroe Vazquez Marwin/Kike/Santana Santana /Chavis/Dalbec 1-7 can do a lot of damage. 8-9 have issues but you can’t have a 300 1-9

    Maybe Dalbec just needs some time to adjust his bat in minors without all the mlb exposure and pressure. I agree. Bring up Chavis.

    LOL you have been a bit dense on this man. Still I respect your opinion. No big deal. The point was to put in context the weight of Price in that team specially in that WS. As Hugh said, several people were even considering Price as the MVP. It speaks volumes of his value and weight in 2018. Pearce won it and it’s oks but Price was fairly in that race. Said that in my book we don’t win it all without Price and Pearce in 2018.

    The biggest question for Cora should have been answered —Arroyo has to play everyday and leadoff moving forward.

    It’s fair to say that we wouldn’t have found that production within that 2018 pitching staff, therefore, yeah, we don’t win it all that year without Price.

    LOL funny how you are splitting those numbers. You are overtaxing his performance vs NY in those POs. My turn. Put away that DS vs NY performance which is symbolic compared with his performance in the whole regular season plus the ALCS and the WS and what you got? In my book? A stud close to ace. The samples are not even close. i.e. Regular Season + ALCS + WS >>>>>>>>>>> DSCS

    Geez moon he posted a solid 3.5 ERA and a 1.1 Whip that year in regular season. Also he won 3 games in those POs 1 vs Houston and 2 vs LAD in the WS which he posted a ridiculous 1.98 ERA. Yes, it’s a fact, without him we don’t win it all that year.

    I meant all-in-all the money spent in those decades. It includes cheap pick ups and salaries paid to players via trades.

    Still, you had to win the games Price pitched in 2018 PO. Without those games you probably hadn’t won the WS. It’s easier to say than done moon.

    Geez man really? Sale had a CY first-half season. Price in POs was a stud. Who would have replaced those 2018 productions? I’ll wait. Do not forget we destroyed 3 100+ win teams in POs. Arguably the toughest path to win a WS in MLB history. Without Price we don’t get it done pal.

    I was kind of kidding old sport BUT as I’ve been saying for several years (even before you signed here), the NYY certainly have assembled good teams but not good enough to win it all. This philosophy won’t get it done moving forward IMO.

    Well we have won 4 rings —the best team in XXI C thus far. Hard to argue we haven’t spent money wisely. If we haven’t nobody has. Regarding Price, he was a huge asset to win in 2018. I do not regret a bit, do you? Also Cole didn’t have Price’s pedigree at the time (2016). Apples and oranges bro.
