    If so, you just got beat by a Triple A team. Not too cool. Btw, if the team you rooted for traded CC and Lee and VMart, etc., etc. would you go out and pay big bucks to freeze your fanny off? The Guardians actually had 455 consecutive sellouts in the late 90s and early 2000s.

    Buchholz lucky? I hardly think so. To me, he will soon be the ace of the staff. If you get and ERA of 3.50 or less today, you're on heck of a pitcher and I, too, see him real close to the 3.50.

    Wakefield is a CLASS ACT and if his pitching days are done, I think he would make a nice addition to the front office if he would be interested. I know the guy loves the BoSox and Boston.

    Right! They came one game from beating the Red Sox in 2007 yet you say they can't play with the big boys. I suggest you look at the overall history of the Red Sox. Same argument could be made about them before Big $$$$ took over the sport. (?) I further suggest you re-read the article and look at their attendance. They had a then-record of 455 consecutive sell outs from June 6, 1995 to June 4, 2001 in a much larger park than Fenway. Also, 3 of those years were sold out before opening day. They built those teams from within with shrewd long-term contracts. Yes, currently they are financially strapped but I think you're comments are way off base.

    How sad for the Guardians. They had 2 of Schilling's top 5 at the same time! I think Cliff Lee certainly belongs in there. Also, Schilling is a class act and no Schilling no 2004 pennant.
