  1. Not many things that are sweeter than a Skanks loss.
  2. Yeah but then you just get even more pissed off when you see that Drew is still in the lineup.
  3. Plus we don't have a bald guido ringleader whose soul purpose in life is to scream at the players from the bleachers. Yoooooooooooo!!!! Vinnnnny!!!!!!!!! SHUT THE f*** UP!!!!
  4. I think he's holding out for a gift certificate to Country Kitchen Buffet.
  5. Yeah, neo-nazism doesn't really go over too well with people nowadays.
  6. We're not the Yankees which means we are substantially less evil. That's at the top of the list.
  7. I still don't like the idea of locking up a guy who's getting deep into his 30's and has a history of injury problems, if Beltran comes to Boston, I can't see it as being anything more than a rental.
  8. That looks incredibly painful.
  9. No, but I'm gonna go look for the video right now,
  10. Bobby Jenks.
  11. Plus, I'm not saying sell the farm for Billingsley. If there's a reasonable deal there, I say make it. Just because Lackey has been bad, doesn't mean he will be.
  12. Okay man, chill out, it was just a suggestion.
  13. I'd trade my left nut for Kershaw.
  14. Sounds sexy.
  15. What about Aaron Harang, guy's putting up solid numbers with the Padres. I don't think he'd cost too much and is definately available. I can see him being a low 4 ERA guy at the back of the rotation. His numbers are decently in line with career averages when you factor in the park he plays in, move him to Fenway and a regression hits I'm sure but I think he could be a solid anchor to the tail end of our rotation for the final two months.
  16. The reports are that it would take a massive overpay to land Pence, one I'm not sure we should make.
  17. That and I doubt Beane will be interested, he's young pitching. Not only that, he's left-handed. Even if available, I can see the price being very high. EDIT: On the subject of playing in the NL parks, is it possible to put AGon out there in right again? Philly's right field isn't too tough, assuming we do get Philly.
  18. I think that cliche isn't always true, I get what you're saying and agree with most of what you've been saying but I don't think it's as simple as that. I'm still siding with you on this one though.
  19. Where would we put him? Apparently he can play the outfield, should we breed him to be that righty bat off the bench we need?
  20. The Mets can go and get f***ed if that's what they're looking for, I say we pick up a Reed Johnson/Josh Willingham and put him on the bench and ride it out with Reddick for the rest of the year. I think we should be looking for pitching.
  21. We're talking about Jacoby Ellsbury, not the Yankees roster from the late '90's.
  22. Let's hope he can stay consistent with his performance in the big leagues.
