Garcia starting to get worn out now. Not fooling these guys the second and third time around. Even the last 2 outs he recorded against Salty and Iggy have been hard it -
Yah I think it's pinetar as well, but I'm not sure it's adding much to his pitches. Probably just going to it for grip. Whatever, all pitchers do something. We just don't have immature dickwad announcers who will make a monster deal out of nothing

I'm not sure Middlebrooks has the stick to be an everyday 1B to be honest. That being said, Middlebrooks is taking ground balls today because of Nap's illness. Wonder what the corresponding move would be if he hit the DL

Walks were high in his first couple starts but he's really started to harness his control. 3.76 BB/9 over his past 7 starts. Not great obviously, and you'd like to see a little more control, but certainly an improvement
