Allen Webster still in line to make his next start on Saturday according to Farrell.
RDLR threw 6 innings of 1 hit, no walk baseball last night, striking out 7 and not allowing a run.
The problem is that he only threw 63 pitches, and he had to be pulled because relief ace Clayton Mortenson just had to get his two innings in last night.
Because RDLR only threw 63 pitches last outing (he got up to 90 in his previous outing), he's likely not going to get called up to take the Saturday start, as he didn't get to build his pitch count and asking him to throw 100 pitches wouldn't be good for him.
Thanks, Mortenson. Gotta make sure that mop up guy gets his innings, even if it puts us in a worse position this weekend against a divisional opponent.
