    JBJ in AAA: .278/.379/.498, .877 OPS, 143 wRC+ Ellsbury in MLB: .305/.366/.440, .806 OPS, 118 wRC+ Not sure how you can conclude that JBJ isn't ready. You're going to have growing pains with every rookie, sure, but that doesn't mean he's not ready. He's an OBP machine that can hit for at least a little power, and he's already a 70 (on 20-80 scale) defensively.

    Yup. Hooked one around the RF foul pole and then smoked one that hit the LF foul pole. And I don't think this is the GT, I just think the thread was started in the wrong place?

    I know a lot of us, including me, wanted to see Bogaerts, but if Middlebrooks can come up and be the 2012 version of himself, that would be huge for this team now and in the future, because the left side would be set for years

    Because Bogaerts has a .376 OBP and Middlebrooks has a .327. That's a massive difference. I am definitely a huge proponent of bringing up Bogaerts and would prefer him over WMB in a second, but just bring SOMEONE up.

    Wow - We caught a huge break with the Rays losing last night. Huge break. Take that and run with it. I like the Dodgers chances to sweep now. So if we can take the next 2, we can push up to a 4 game lead.

    Who cares if Beato has options. The guy is absolutely worthless. This bullpen is going to be exposed very soon. It's started tonight. We essentially have the PawSox bullpen plus Taz, Bres, and Uehara.

    Doesn't matter. You can't give up 6 runs in a bleeping inning. That's absolutely unacceptable. Beato needs to be DFA'd tonight.
