    It's just so unbelievable that our entire team is slumping right now. It's a month into the season and we've still yet to see much power from Gonzo, anything from Crawford, anything from Youk, any power from Ortiz. I really can't believe the whole team is this down right now. Seems like those games we won out west were more in spite of our offense, rather than because of our offense.

    We need to drop him down in the order until he stops K'ing and starts hitting with RISP. I'd rather see Lowrie 3 and Gonzo 4 or something to that effect. Youk's been having a ton of opportunities with RISP lately and he has been atrocious. I know he'll turn it around, but it seems like Francona has double standards by dropping Craw when he's struggling but standing firm with Youk, and Youk is hurting the team worse than Craw.

    What are we supposed to do? Pump sunshine and rainbows onto this board and say "get em next time"? If our team performed to even 1/2 of their potential we'd be winning games. Every single player not named Gonzalez is playing to about 1/10 of his potential. And nobody is putting the team on their back. Francona won't light a fire under the team. Everyone is playing as an individual and nobody is playing as a team.

    Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Salty made a throw right on the money. He's been good behind the plate too, pitchers have thrown to a 2.20 ERA to him over the past 5 games. And his stick may be starting to pick it up too. We will see, but hopefully sitting back and watching Tek is helping him out.
