    Exactly. Keeping him in the 8th spot is terrible for him. You take away his wheels. You aren't giving him the confidence he needs. He's more comfortable at the top of the line up. I really am disappointed in Francona right now.

    This right here is exactly why hitting Crawford in front of Varitek is dumb as s***. Crawford is smart enough that he won't run while Tek is hitting because he doesn't want to have to start the next inning with Varitek leading off. So in essence, you're taking Crawfords biggest asset away from him. I hate Francona's illogical line ups. Think, Francona. Think.
