    Daniel Bard has now allowed 10 ER in his 4.2 IP in September. He's completely dicked us this game. Unacceptable and inexcusable.

    Gotta agree. I'm not super old school in that I expect our SP to go 8-9 IP every outing, but our starters need to consistently go 6-7, and that's just not happening. Having said that, Lackey's outing was relatively great, as odd as that sounds. As bad as he's pitched as of late, I'll take 5.1, 2 ER from him all day.

    I cannot believe how incredibly inefficient our SP has been lately. It's one thing to get bombed and go 5 IP, but even in games where our SP has only allowed 2-4 runs, they're still only going 5 IP. Just completely taxing the bullpen.

    Thanks buddy. We had an absolute blast. My wife had never been up to Boston before, so she didn't know what to expect. Turns out it's now her favorite city. Sorry Wife. Didn't mean to hijack the thread!

    By the way - My wife got that job she was interviewing for, so we will be moving up there in January/February. I am absolutely ecstatic, being able to catch a Sox game just about anytime I want, plus not having to buy the MLB package to watch the games.

    When we were up there this past week, we went over to Cask and Flagon. It's a sports bar, not sure if thats what he'd want, but we sat on the patio and it's right across the street from the Monster portion of Fenway. They have delicious buffalo chicken dip, and their pizza is good too.
