  1. Awful base running by Nava but that call was f***ing terrible.
  2. Awful base running by Nava.
  3. FWIW that same blog also tweeted Peyton Manning was signing with the Titans.
  4. Anyone seen anything from a credible source on this yet? Like I said in the other thread all I've seen is tweets from a guy from some no name blog.
  5. Are there any credible sources reporting that? All I've seen is some guy from a no name blog reporting it.
  6. Agreed. My whole original point in response to SoxSport was that we should wait to hear the conditions before criticizing Ben. Provided the PTBNL isn't a top 10 guy I believe it's far to ask why we couldn't make the deal happen.
  7. Did you read my post? I said myself it depends on the quality of the PTBNL. Edit: This is in response to User Name
  8. I would be all for it depending on the PTBNL. Provided it's not a prospect on the level of Ranaudo or Barnes, I think it's definitely fair to criticize Ben for not getting Crain.
  9. Do you know what the conditions are? Seems pretty ridiculous to criticize the Sox for not being in on this when you don't even know the conditions of the deal that was made.
  10. How do you know the Sox weren't in on him? Is it not possible the White Sox preferred what the Rays were willing to give up over what the Sox were offering?
  11. I make the deal and don't even think twice about it. But this is nothing like the Beckett trade. The players will not have nearly the impact that the guys in that deal did.
  12. I would never consider a SP to be blocked no matter how strong the rotation is. You can always make room for an up and coming SP.
  13. I don't know why anyone is even remotely interested in Norris. I wouldn't part with a single top 10 prospect, and I'm not even sure he's much of an upgrade over Workman.
  14. I disagree. I think 2010 and 2011 are outliers because he was hurt. I think he's certainly capable of being a top 3 starter in the rotation the next year and a half if he's acquired. Edit: This is in response to SR.
  15. It's a risk you have to take at the deadline. His deal is over after next year so if he's hurt it won't be crippling for years to come. There's not a single guy available with a higher ceiling over the next year and a half than Peavy. Granted you take a risk of giving up prospects for essentially nothing if he gets injured, but there's not a single guy available that doesn't come with his fair share of question marks.
