  1. Do you people still think it was a good idea to pick up his contract?
  2. Buchholtz is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.
  3. We've got to have someone better in the minors.
  4. These young kids are going to be fun to watch.
  5. Go Sox! It's my annual sick day.
  6. I think our rotation has great potential. But, it's a shot in the dark if they'll do well past Price.
  7. It's not too far off from the consensus. I just don't think a rotation with someone so unpredictable as Buchholtz as a number 2 pitcher stands a chance to do anything better.
  8. I'm going with 82 wins.
  9. People always get that way about JBJ. He has a good month, and they forget he was garbage for 90% of the season. We'll all see if he can maintain the good hitting he showed the last month of last season.
  10. I agree with you. I think we have a better ace. But, after Price, we have Buchholtz. He's a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get. He could be great and he could also be a head case. I'd feel better if we had a sure thing behind Price.
  11. The Yankees probably have the best bullpen in baseball now. With the Red Sox not too far behind. Going to be some long games played between those two.
  12. Man, that's one big swordfish...
  13. That's Miley for you. A reliable, but mediocre pitcher.
  14. I can't either. They gave the Red Sox a pretty solid reliever, for a average starting pitcher.
  15. Getting Carson Smith for Miley seems like an impressive move by Dombrowski. This is going to make the back of the bullpen good and you cut a lot of money off your payrole.
  16. Now can we trade Buchholtz and get a real number two?
  17. Where the f*** was this team the first part of the season?
  18. I don't think you'd score it like that. It's a triple and an error
  19. I disagree with that one. The only time the ball changed direction, is when it peers to be at the middle of the blue wall. If the ball hit the black inner wall, it most likely wouldn't have made it back inside the park.
  20. What do you mean? That ball hit the middle of the wall: nowhere near the orange line.
  21. If he isn't 100 percent, then I agree. There is no point risking more damage for a season that is over.
  22. Just because he isn't good at closing, doesn't mean he sucks. Some guys just aren't that type of pitcher.
