    Definitely is brutal, but we have to look at the bright side. This team isn't even performing at it's full potential, yet we still have a 3 game lead in the division. Lester who was suppose to be our ace, really isn't. He might be the 2nd worse in the rotation. Buchholz is out. Key players underperforming(enter Napoli, Pedroia, Lester, etc). Bullpen dealing with injuries or players just sucking. We give this team a lot of s***, but we really don't realize how lucky we are to be in this position.

    I wonder what is about Napoli playing in Toronto. Anyone remember that game where he had not 1, but 2 HRs? They were bombs too. Hopefully he can continue that tonight. Napoli came up really clutch last night. He definitely needed that.

    Napoli after the all star break, in a span of 22 games In 79 ABs, he's managed to get only 15 hits, 12 runs, 9 RBI's, GIDP 6 times and 35 K's. Not only did his production go way down, he lost power, and a shitload of it. Only 5 doubles and 3 HRs for a a total of 8 XBH. Only hitting .190 which might be the worse on the team, I have to look into it. Before anyone says anything, I'm not trying to bash Napoli. Just posting the numbers and they don't lie. I will always hope for the best in any player that wears a Red Sox uniform, but when you suck this bad, it needs to be known.

    No, but if it's something you're interested in, I can keep you updated. I enjoy looking at stats, so I decided to look at his last 15 games. If you want it for a longer period, it's not a problem. Or I can just continue from the 15 games, doesn't matter to me.

    Rotation of Carp, Nava and Gomes > Napoli everyday I don't care how much he's making, it's just disgusting watching him at the plate. They should avoid using him as much as they can, until he gets into some kind of grove. I posted this in the game thread today, but in the last 15 games he has 23 K's and 42 LOB. He's a number 5 hitter, it's killing the team. Napoli probably couldn't hit a beach ball if he wanted to.

    I remember that game like it was yesterday. I was there and I remember clearly screaming at the top of my lungs because of Napoli. Not because of the walkoff though. I was excited for that, but he also had a huge DP in the 8th along with 3 K's. I'll never forget the look people kept giving me as I was going apeshit, I didn't really care though.
