  1. I factor in benches only if it's an extremely close matchup and I don't really factor it in much, maybe a couple points either way
  2. C Carlos Santana 1B Joey Votto >> Billy Butler 2B Robinson Cano >> Jose Lopez 3B Evan Longoria > Michael Young 5-2 SS Alexei Ramirez push Jose Reyes RF Nelson Cruz >> Jose Tabata CF Alex Rios LF Carlos Gonzalez >> Adam Jones DH Paul Konerko push Vladimir Guerrero 9-3 1. Adam Wainwright > Ubaldo Jimenez 2. David Price > Justin Verlander 3. Mat Latos push Jered Weaver 4. John Danks >> Ricky Nolasco 5. Tim Hudson > Carl Pavano 14-3 LR Ervin Santana > Carlos Zambrano MR Sergio Romo >> Chad Qualls MR Mike Adams > Frank Herrman SU Evan Meek > JJ Putz SU Hong Chi Kuo > Chris Perez CL Andrew Bailey push Heath Bell 20-3 I win in an absolute blowout, my pitching, starting and relief, absolutely dominates his, he doesn't beat me in a single matchup there, my hitting is better as well, he only beats me at catcher and CF there. His lineup has a speedy #1 and some solid power hitter 3-6, but mine has speed all over it, with a lot of 5 tool players like Evan Longoria, Carlos Gonzalez, Joey Votto, Nelson Cruz, and Alex Rios, and I have power 1-7 and a lot of speed scattered through the lineup My defense also dominates, UZR is a sabermetric stat that values range of a player in comparison to other players of their position and the plays they make, a + UZR is the number of runs that player has saved with their defense. Over the last couple of years, Evan Longoria, Alexei Ramirez, Nelson Cruz, Alex Rios have had UZR's through the roof. Robinson Cano is having a gold glove caliber season, Carlos gonzalez is playing a good left field, joey votto is improving at first base, and Carlos Santana has thrown out a good percentage of runners from the plate Overall, I think my team wins this matchup by a lot

  4. Due to the fact that GITC never comes on, jasonbay44 rarely comes on, and whiskeybreath is away until Monday, I am going to have to adjust to 3 votes to win, because we will never get to four unless everybody agrees on one team (except for the finals, four to win for that)
  5. Better question is: what was RIGHT with your team
  6. haha fair enough, it's still 14-5
  7. C: Brian McCann >> Posada 1B: Justin Morneau > Fielder 2B: Chase Utley push Brandon Phillips SS: Rafael Furcal push Jimmy Rollins 3B: Ryan Zimmerman >> Pablo Sandoval 5-0 LF: Carl Crawford >> Martin Prado (flynnatic didn't have a 3rd outfield so I put Prado there since he's rather versatile) CF: Torii Hunter > Curtis Granderson RF: Shin Soo Choo > Jason Heyward DH: Manny Ramirez push Carlos Pena 9-0 italstallion SP: Zack Greinke ® SP: Roy Oswalt ® SP: Jeff Niemann ® SP: Ryan Dempster ® > Buehrle SP: Hiroki Kuroda ® push Phil Hughes 10-3 italstallion LR: JA Happ (L) MR: Tim Stauffer ® > Tony Sipp MR: Darren Oliver (L) > Scherzer SU: Neftali Feliz ® > Street SU: Carlos Marmol ® > Nathan CL: Billy Wagner (L) Not to mention that flynnatic doesn't have a bench
  8. Post it on the thread for your matchup now And suns, besides for you, everybody else put your team at 6, 7, or 8, I remember your total adding to 29 (2 + something + something + something + something)

  10. The moment you've all been waiting for 1. italstallion 2. YRTB 3. divinity 4. whiskeybreath 5. jasonbay44 6. bsox 7. suns 8. flynnatic First matchup: italstallion vs flynnatic, flynnatic has been ignoring my PM's to finish his team and send me power rankings, so he will not be sending it a persuasion I assume
  11. We have a two way tie for #6 and #7 Should I flip a coin?
  12. One more hour before I post up the playoff seeds. The closest race right now is between #6 and 7 haha
  13. You will likely have a playoff matchup before then, can you send me a PM with the reason your team should advance in your next matchup, I don't know yet who it will be against but that way I can post that with your matchup
  14. I've received so far from: italstallion me whiskeybreath suns bsox I think the remaining members should send in power rankings, it's an excellent opportunity to give yourself a very high rank that you may or may not deserve, I don't really object to it since everybody does it. 10 PM ET is the deadline
  15. Flynnatic still hasn't finished his team either
  16. Yeah, but pictures of hot celebrities is fun too
  17. Okay, I've received four so far. Two more and then I'll make the seeding
  18. Feel free to send in power rankings guys I've received 3 so far (counting myself)
  19. Yeah, I usually do a position by position breakdown but a paragraph works as well. And honestly, in past redrafts I've done the playoffs suck, because all the people with bad teams lose interest and I'm one of the few people who takes it seriously. But it would be great if people explain why they should win
  20. For anyone who hasn't completely updated your clubhouse please do so. At first glance, everything looks good except Suns needs to set his lineup and Suns needs to finish his team and a couple people need to add their last picks to their bench
  21. Yeah, a bracket like that. And unless the matchup is an absolute blowout, it should be accompanied by a breakdown of some sort. Each matchup lasts until someone gets 4 votes or until 2 days pass, whichever happens first
  22. For the playoffs, everybody will PM me their power rankings ranking the teams based on who good they are, once I have 6 or 7 power rankings I'll average them out and set up a bracket. Top 8 teams will advance (there are really only 8 teams because youker and robiformvp quit) But before that I want everyone to finish updating their clubhouses
  23. Basically everybody has been skipped by now. So I'll just give it a day for everybody to make up any skipped picks
  24. anyone else want to finish their last round picks before we start the playoffs?
