  1. Yes, I suppose so
  2. Well, I don't think that is a factor here really because cornerbacks are never usually divided on that basis
  3. Hmm...I think there were a couple RBs better than DeAngelo, and a couple WRs better than Marshall I think the LBs are about right, same with the tackles
  4. I feel like in a draft like this you have to see how people are drafting, because when it comes down to it THESE are the people who are going to be voting on your team and if you don't conform to the way people are drafting, you'll end up with a s***** player at a certain position. Right now it is looking like LT and RB are those positions. For the controversies by position, I think they go like this LT: Clady, Thomas, Long LB: Willis, Ware, Beason, Woodley WR: Johnson, Fitz, Marshall QB: Brees, Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, Rivers
  5. Joe Thomas is 2nd best, Roos or Long is 3rd best IMO
  6. Looking back on this 4 of my 5 pitchers are in the Cy Young race, and CarGo or Votto is going to win NL MVP Still think you have a better team suns?
  7. Yeah, shortening it to 8 hours sounds good
  8. With pick 2 of round 2, I'll take the best offensive lineman in the NFL Joe Thomas
  9. Adrian Peterson
  10. Wow, Patrick Willis was a steal as late as he went, I was hoping he would fall for me
  11. I think the best option if we have 15 teams is just let the #1 seed get a bye and do a 1 vs bye, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14, and so on Another option is cut the 3 worst teams, give the top 4 teams byes (do 5 v12, 6 v11, 7 v10, 8v9) to get it down to 8 teams, but I think the top version is the most efficient
  12. I'm in if anybody drops out
  13. Ouch, only a 1 game lead on the Rays now. But the Twins are better than the Rangers based on record, so could winning the Wild Card rather than the division potentially be a good thing?
  14. This really blows for me...he's my ace in my money league
  15. Fantasy baseball is really my game, I usually come 1st or 2nd in all of my major leagues. Last year I won fantasy football but it was a lot of luck in drafting Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, and Matt Schaub
  16. Fantasy sports are taken pretty seriously by most, especially those who are competitive (which I think the majority of people in this league, including myself, are)
  17. This is the thing that doesn't make sense. If you thought Rivers was in for a better season than Brees, why draft Brees when Rivers would be available for another round? And Brees has dominated the last couple of years and has a better receiver core than Rivers
  18. I think people are talking about this because Brees is usually the first QB to be drafted, near the end of the 1st round, while Rivers is usually a 4th round pick, so it doesn't seem to make much sense. The thing is, logically if you thought Rivers was going to have a monster year, it would make sense to get an elite RB/WR when you got Brees and to draft Rivers in round 3 or 4
  19. As average as he is starting to become at SS compared to other players, I just don't feel right about possibly letting him go, I wasn't happy when they let Bernie go either. I would like him to maybe come back for 2 or 3 more years at 10-12 million a year, I hope he is willing to take a pay cut
  20. As good as the Yankees are historically against the Rangers, I would love to play the Twins in the ALDs, the Yankees have played them a million times in the last couple of years in the postseason and won every time with ease, the Rangers have a scary lineup and a scary 1-2 in the rotation
  21. The other thing I don't get is, why sulk for 2 years on a league that involves absolutely no money? In my money league with friends I'm in 1st right now, hopefully I pull out the $100 prize that comes with first place
  22. 3B Evan Longoria LF Carlos Gonzalez haha I still can't get over this, anyone who thinks Michael Young is better than Evan Longoria should stop playing fantasy baseball
  23. depending on the scoring good wr/rbs could help me do alright, we'll see
  24. I got a co-manager since I was going to miss the draft but co-managers can't draft, so my team is pretty bad. Kevin Kolb as my QB isn't the greatest thing in the world either
  25. The Final Standings Were 1 - YRTB 2 - jasonbay44 T3 - italstallion T3 - divinity
