    No you pointed out the difference from 1 year to the next and asked rhetorically if his stats had changed. I'm saying of course they didn't, but the difference isn't about his stats, it's about his recent tweet. Right or wrong, sports journalists don't care for his politics or demeanor and some stopped voting for him. As I pointed out, whether his stats are good enough is a secondary argument.

    The difference is mainly because he made a tweet applauding a T-shirt that said journalists should be lynched. Nothing to do with his stats. (And I think you can make a valid argument that his stats aren't good enough, but that's a different matter).

    You hate to restrict these things, and no offense intended, but some of the teams in the finals and especially the qualifying (which was by invitation) have no business being there. I'd like a much shorter list of contestants with more games between them.

    This was where they painted themselves in a corner with this idiotic strategy of Ben's and refusal to pay what it takes to get quality arms older than 30. Price wasn't just the best option, pretty much the only option and they paid the price (no pun intended). Could have had Lester for less if they hadn't f***ed around and f***ed up. Now, we all know Price takes you so far before s***ing the bed every single time, but having put themselves in that position, were they supposed to wait another year and hope someone better (ie better priced) came along?

    Has any good ever come from a second opinion from Dr Andrews? Ever? Speaking of AC/DC, looks like our title hopes might be Shot Down In Flames. I don't care what pitching we have or don't have, I don't miss Bucholz for a nanosecond. Good riddance to inconsistent garbage.

    Playing for your country should trump everything. That said, there's no good time to be playing this tournament, it seems. On the other hand, I'm really pissed at the NHL's attitude towards the Olympics.
