I assume you don't like the Yankees West because they've spent their way to a possible title? So why hate on the players, they aren't the problem. I would (and have) hated the Dodgers organization recently, but this is the only time they've made the Series so far, so I am adjusted to the chance that they could win, and it doesn't bother me.

What's the knock on Randolph? He turned a 91 loss Mets team around in short fashion, but they slumped badly in his third season. Googling gives me Keith Hernandez insinuating that Latin players didn't like him for some reason. Whether that's true or not, there must be something against him because it took him years to get a managing gig and no one's given him a second opportunity for almost ten years now.

I must give credit where it's due, the Yankees perhaps overachieved this year and do look set to make a long run at the WS.

So now might be a good time to revisit and debate the concept of "Home field advantage" because the lesser team has 3 of the first 5 games. I know they want to limit travel, but is it worth it to switch to 2-2-1-1-1?

we wouldn't get back equal value in talent if they're picking up so much of the freight. Unless you believe offloading Porcello is addition by subtraction. At this point, now that ERod's out for some time, I'd be careful to not offload any starters unless it's part of a deal for a better starter, which is unlikely.
