  3. almost doubled his total RBIs in one game.
  4. who the f*** is ryan goins? .170 and he goes 3 for 3?
  5. So isn't this underlining why keeping Lester is important?
  6. thanks Buch. we aint winning this s***.
  7. Most of that stuff doesn't get you in the hall. Top 5 in MVP voting? A bunch of silver sluggers? OBP title? Really?? You're reaching now.
  8. five pitch lead off walk.
  9. And why WOULDN'T he want fair market value? Are the Sox seriously thinking he would take a ludicrous hometown discount like their initial offer? They need him more than he needs them, and they should have put up a decent offer by now.
  10. Actually, Molson Canadian is one of my favorite beers, but that's besides the point. LET'S GO RED SOX!
  11. No way Ortiz should be a HOFer. It's supposed to be the hall of the great, not the very good.
  12. We won a game? Is that still allowed?
  13. This is the norm now. Player announces retirement before the season; season becomes all about them. It's so unclassy, I don't give a s*** who it is. Hope the fans give Jeter the Bronx cheer, so to speak.
  14. I saw her first, dammit.
  15. well at this point it probably doesn't matter walking anyone, we're probably not winning.
  16. Come the f*** on, 8 hits and 7 of them singles.
  17. That's the way, write off XB after not even a full season. You're an ass.
  18. Grandal isn't doing very well either.
  19. Epic fail brah Gonna be a collector's item for sure.
  20. GMs throughout the league are catching on to the notion that the best results are with younger, more cost-effective guys. I'm not saying field a lineup of nobodies. They have to be good prospects, but I want to see a younger core supplemented by good veterans. I don't want a Yankees style constant hollowing out of the farm in trades for guys that cost $20mil per year and are already 33, 35. I also dont want the Sox to spend a certain amount just to justify ticket prices. Not if they are signing or trading for expensive broken down players past their prime.
