also stands to reason that drunk, obsessed fans get out of control. I doubt it was fans that looted but we've all seen "fans" that start fires, over-turn vehicles, smash windows and signs, pull down poles...... Alcohol and hysteria are an unpleasant combo.. add college age into it.......

Montreal embarrassed itself. Rioting, shops looted .... over a second round victory. Idiots. I was ashamed of Boston when they went nuts after the first SuperBowl championship but at least that was a championship.

Where I grew up in Maine it was still Giants country, to a certain extent it still is and I couldn't even read this story. I idolized LT when he played for the Giants. I'm glad I finally took the time to read this thread, I'd seen all the headlines and felt like crying. LT has had problems with drugs since adolescence, so I expect some effed up behavior but the headlines were screaming scum, pedophile, rapist... He should know better but he has never had an ounce of discipline. And agreed, the pimp will be the new "wide-receiver". LT will just lay low (again) for a period and then he'll be back to his messed up but not totally sick existence. Still the best linebacker, if not overall defensive player I ever saw and when you consider he was at least double-teamed his entire career - it's the stuff of legends. Period.

Aren't they one and the same. I kill me. Seriously don't sneak down to the field, it would suck to spend your first game at Fenway behind bars. Hey, maybe you'll get lucky and an opposing player will kick sand in your face. SCORE!
