There are so few threads and so few posts - don't discourage someone who's at least trying to start topics for people to post on.

    I want to play the Twins, the Tigers, The Angels ... more than one series a year. These are teams I know, have watched for decades and there is some history with the Red Sox. I don't give a crap about the Phillies, Pirates, Braves... and people can "see" these teams on the 10,000 sports channels now available. They don't have to play the Red Sox for anyone to see them.

    Ok... Yes, I know it's historic and cozy .... but I really dislike Fenway Park, passionately. The seats are too small and there's no leg-room. Many of the seats have obstructed views, most of the right field seats face the monster instead of the diamond. The facilities are sub-par with some downright disgusting. The area it's in is overcrowded, it takes hours to get home after a game and there's too little parking. Sure the Monster is cool.. but you can build a green wall anywhere.

    The schedules this year for interleague play are completely unbalanced. This year is another great advertisement for killing it. It started out as exhibition and it should have stayed that way. Those 18 games could/should be spent playing the central and west divisions in the AL.

    Mine's going to piss a lot of people off... The New York Mets. The reason it's the Mets is simple, "The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend". The Mets have lived in the shadow of the Evil Empire as much as we have. I feel for 'em, especially these days with their totally s***** GM. Who's your #2?

    I don't. I stopped voting a couple of years ago because it's such a popularity contest (or you play for the right manager) over being a true record of who's having the best year. Do you still vote? Do you vote straight Sox?

    Oh lord you're an odd kid. Since you offer nothing to the board I should put you on ignore but since you make my 10 year old niece seem, reasonable, mature, educated and serene by comparison - I'll keep you around. It's going to be a banner birthday and Christmas for my niece, she's never been so appreciated. oh and Emmz... nothing in that post of mine you quoted was in response to anything you said except the very first paragraph with the dig to you... I was just annoying the annoying.
