  1. Versus Huff(2-9). Should be an easy win.
  2. It makes me wonder what would have happened if Ellsbury started in center instead of Patterson who had a 0-2, 2K night.
  3. Ugh, that's the second time this week the Sox have come from a 6-1 game to lose 6-5.
  4. Yeah, I don't think this team should be expecting to do it tomorrow night too.
  5. Oh wow, this is going to be the longest game thread in quite some time.
  6. I think they need to atleast get to the second round of the playoffs before he becomes untouchable. Even they have to be predicting a fair bit of regression next year, plus the NL West is a surprisingly tough division these days.
  7. Winning this would be a huge boost to this club. Kalish getting on base 4 times, coming back from a tough game, the bullpen holding up, and it would put the Sox 5.5 back from not just the Rays, but also the Yankees. Three big late inning surges will be huge for morale.
  8. Perez coming in? Perez just came out. That's got to be confusing.
  9. Not this time. Haha, yeah?
  10. Hahahaha, if he feels like a cup is too restrictive, do you think he'll wear a cowbell?
  11. That's probably a good sign. If he's not here to gloat, it means Youk will be able to play soon.
  12. Just a few days here, and Kalish is already learning tricks from Beltre.
  13. The Sox would have to overpay, but it would probably be worth it. Ellsbury, Lars, Doubront and one more might be able to get the deal done.
  14. Theo decided this team could win with the bullpen we have...
  15. I expect some late game heroics incoming.
  16. So apparently Lester had his first child. That's probably had some impact on his poor performance as of late.
  17. Youkilis is diagnosed with a jammed thumb, and is probably day to day.
  18. It seems like having Cash as his catcher really is hurting Lackey.
  19. That fan just saved the Sox a run, and they're kicking him out. Harsh!
  20. I agree completely about Scutaro. Everything about him his come exactly as advertised. His defense seems averages at times, but spectacular at others. He's done a great job as lead off man, he's been playing well despite serious back pain... everything you could ask for in a player, he has done for this team. His walkoff last night didn't hurt either.
  21. Well, that was ugly.
  22. Looked like his thumb. Youk is damn durable though, I bet its not a big issue.
