I actually appreciate your humor even if it's my expense, this is the first time the Yankees have reached the playoffs in years, I couldn't help myself.
I'd post more but jacko is basicly the only other Yankees fan that does, so there really isn't much opportunity to interact with others with similiar views.
Also the Sox fans that I liked on this site such as Emmz and italianstallion don't post here anymore.
Mike Francesa was just talking about it on his FOX Sports broadcast.
FOX sports writer Ken Rosenthal also recently wrote "The only proper solution for the Sox is to re-enact the Great Cleanse of '12, and fumigate the clubhouse again. Hanley Ramirez, gone. Pablo Sandoval, gone,"

Word has it the Sox are seeking to unload Hanley, Sandoval and Napoli, similiar to the move they made a few years ago when they traded A-Gon, Beckett and Crawford.
It seems Eovaldi's biggest issue is despite having a 96mph average fastball his spin rate is so unremarkable in either direction. Low-spin fastballs tend to get higher ground-ball rates, and high-spin fastballs generally result in more swings-and-misses. Fastballs work best at the extreme edges of spin rates, not quietly in the middle. Like you mentioned though developing that splitter would certainly help alot aswell.
So because one team paid one #2-3 starter like an Ace the rest of the league will follow suit? Does that mean all #1 starters will be getting long term $30 million AAV contracts now like Kershaw's?
Which of these pitchers do you feel Lester is better than?
Clayton Kershaw
Felix Hernandez
Adam Wainwright
Chris Sale
Max Scherzer
David Price
Johnny Cueto
Yu Darvish
Masahiro Tanaka
Madison Bumgarner
Stephen Strasburg
Corey Kluber
In the future I recommend turning off ESPN if they're able to ruin major sports events for you, boxing fans have been waiting on this fight to happen for at least the past 5 years.
Your closer isn't the same as he was in 2013, he's turning 40 next weekend. If last season was any indication, it seems Koji can't endure the workload a full season anymore without fatigue setting in. He posted a 1.65 ERA and .174 BAA in 43⅔ innings prior to the All-Star break, and he finished with a 4.35 ERA and .282 BAA in the second half.
I agree, Ellsbury should be 1st and Gardner 3rd
Last season Ellsbury did not do as well hitting 3rd as when he batted leadoff, plus his more daring base running would seem to serve him better in the leadoff spot.
Also Gardner’s increased power makes him more of a candidate for the 3-hole than he had been perceived to be prior to last season.
