I already stated that this what i thought he should be worth now because i have a good feeling about how good he will be in a few years. And also previously stated i would make him be locked up for a longer period of time if i was giving him that much. I am glad we were able to get him on the cheap IMO.

of course because i would have signed Rondo for 11M/yr every day of the week. i think he could have gotten 15 and i would have given it to him but would have needed to get more years. I think that Rondo is far from mediocre. he is a player that will help this team win for years to come. he can pass the ball with precision and the ability to rebound the way he does. he can be a very good player. he has improved a lot since last season. with more experience he will get better. its not like once a player makes the NBA he can only get worse.

I think that this is a big trade for the Pirates. Rays IMO are not getting the same in return.
