    For me it was the 2004 World Series win.....a little obvious, but that moment melted all the bad that went before......as I was watching them pile on top of each other I got a call from my ex-husband, he was watching too and said "you were the first person I thought of to call" we went through alot of heart-breaking Red Sox Baseball together.

    did not know this about Bay...I did hear that he had surgery two yrs ago in the off season ( still w/Pirates ) for knee or shoulder....can't remember

    I think MLB players should not participate in the WBC . they are million dollar players risking knee or arm injuries or worse, and threatening their MLB seasons.........Dice-K had to "save face", and probably thought he could hide the injury...it took alot of courage to come to the Sox and fans and admit it. What would any of us have done?

    just got off a rollercoaster ride with the Pats' season....pitchers n catchers will report next month...starting to warm up to baseball again........my favorite all time players are Fisk (27) and Spaceman (37).....I live on The Cape......it's pretty much a ghost town again. i'm looking forward to everyone's opinion ( unless you're a Yankee )

    I think Ellsbury would feel honored to play left field at Fenway Park...maybe they're saying they do trust him.......LF is sacred ground in Boston......Ted, Yaz Rice....maybe they're saying Ellsbury is the future, Bay didn't want it Ellsbury inherited it......

    Fenway is all about the atmosphere, so you're uncomfortable for a few hours.......so the beer is warm and the hotdogs are cold.....I can't wait to go back............the place is packed every game, so it cant be that bad....it was even packed for the Bruins out in the freezing cold when they had their "walk-off" win, ( a little Fenway Magic at work that day..).....it's the same seats Nuf Ced McGreevy and the Royal Rooters sat in...you didn't hear them complain.....if you have a pole in your view feel lucky that all the action isn't taking place in that one spot....and feel glad that it's there holding up all the people above you........"Good times never seemed so good.." ( so good! so good! )

    I like how Lackey said he was interested in coming to the Sox for a while now...he gets it. the history, the crowd the ballpark. that's a plus attitude/wise
