I wonder if over time Bard is the type of pitcher that will become hittable when players have seen him enough/used to the way he pitches, speed or not. But I hope this is just the usual baseball ups and downs.
At least he got that first out. Was sure he'd walk in a run or something...
So refresh my memory...the Rays were kicking our team's butt, mostly, early in the season, right? This is (so far) much better. The bats aren't super-hot, but it's better.
