    I'm hoping the famed rivalry between the NYY and Boston will negate the fact the team is playing not so great right now. After all, we haven't done at all well in the Trop this year, but still beat the NYY so far. ....V-MART! Yes, I like this boy.

    @dowling25 - to add...I think Clay is sitting in the bullpen, but it'd have to another extreme game for him to be used, obviously.

    Her name is Lindsay Clubine. And she's making a general comment because of last night's long game. I'm guessing. She's nice and means well, but seems like a bit of an airhead, too.

    On the positive side, Penny hasn't allowed an insurmountable Rays lead, yet. The bats really need to come to life, tho.

    I'm usually more optimistic but I believe Red Sox are 2-15 of the last games in the Trop. Something about the Rays/Trop that Boston is really struggling with, never mind their general recent struggles since all-star.

    How about we just start every boston defensive period with a Ray on 1st and 3nd w/1 out and save some time. ...oops, my pessimism is showing, sorry.

    All sports in a way are a numbers game, but yes, I know baseball in particular loves its stats. That doesn't negate the fact some of you are too obsessed with numbers, at all times.

    Re: Upton - he has his share of missed catches like everyone else, but generally speaking, he's a devil out there. It's his bat that has been lacking this year, from what I've heard anyway.
