Yeah I have said about the same in other threads. I think Fox Sports should make a new show called "Lunch With Big Papi". There is so much that could be done with that idea.

I feel the same way. I can't say anything bad about Roberts. Every time I hear him speak I am impressed by how he is such a nice and intelligent man. Articulate, too. However, I can't stand anything LA and if the movie Escape from LA came to pass I would not cry. f*** LA and all their part time fans. GO STROS!!11!!!

The misfire on Castillo had potential to go bad from the beginning. The guy was 27 or 28 or something like that. He had not played organized ball in over 1 1/2 seasons. No Sox scout or Exec had actually seen him play live. They had only viewed video of him in the WBC. Then they made a massive commitment to the guy. The potential for failure on this deal was all too obvious. Poor decision made by ignorant staff based on insufficient information.

Call a spade a spade, Bell. Boy Blunder Bennie blew up a decent to good rotation for no justifiable or rational reasons. That is why DD purged the minors and spent a fortune. People were crapping all over his inability to build a good pen too. Look what he did. The Sox have a good pen but he spent chips and money to build it. Our vaunted minor league treasures never produced either type of pitcher for this team in numbers worth mentioning. For some reason Boy Blunder makes panties wet and splooge blown.

None of those guys comes close to solving the power outage. My question remains unanswered.

Hmm. So what happens if the Sox fail or decide not to sign Stanton or Martinez? I'd say there is a strong possibility of that happening. How is the power outage addressed? If the Sox dick around playing the market on those two and Moreland signs elsewhere then we are stuck with some undesirable choices that we will no doubt over-pay for. Or just "stand pat" and go get a reliever or two and a 3-4 starter. I wonder what tricks DD has up his sleeve.

If an MVP award must be given out in the AL then it has to go to Altuve. Judge gets a huge bump from playing in NYC. The process is a joke.
