  1. That's great. Now he is hitting over .100 at Pawtucket. Fianally. Don't get me wrong, I believe he will make a very large contribution to the Sox this year.
  2. I've been reluctant to mention this up to this point, but a friend of mine was a "Financial Advisor" for Eck when he was with the Sox. My friend said that Eck would show up in my friend's office for a meeting and crack an 8 ball open on the desk. Not really surprising. Nose candy was really big then (for those that could afford it). Got to give him credit though. He overcame an addiction, became a dominant closer, and made it to the hall of fame.
  3. It's interesting, Tek was all but dead according to most Sox fans and media people. Now that he is producing (again), very few are vocal. "Having said that", I'd be very happy if Tek hits .240 or above this year. And 20 or more HR certainly seem achievable.
  4. Smoltz clearly sucks tonight. Only 5 Ks in 3 IP. He could never pitch for the Yankees.
  5. Is my favorite Dominican watching the game? Downing a few Presidentes?
  6. This is just f***ing great. Thanks Dutchy!!!!! Now I can watch out of market games without spending even more money that I don't have. Maybe I won't miss the next no-no. I hope it remains available.
  7. Wholy s***! Is that site really free? Or is it some temporary promotion?
  8. Yeah, I f***ed up and then noticed it. Thanks for the directions!
  9. Who cares, really?
  10. How is V-Mart's play at 1st? Is he as good as Kotsay? Can he play it full-time?
  11. I just tuned into the game. He looked pretty good in the 6th.
  12. 8-4 Angels going into the bottom of the 6th.

  15. As soon as I have the money (job required), I'm going to subscribe to whatever service provides access to all these games. A no-no should not be missed.
  16. Hah! You perpetuated it. Nice Image of Nickerson Field. This IS where the Braves played. Just a short walk from Brookline. Imagine that.
  17. As I said. One grandstand. I hope the Sox can make some money here. Thanks Sweet Chin Music33.
  18. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D: I'm out of breath.
