The Sigmund in me suspects that many of these guys need to masturbate more often. It's clear from their bitterness that no woman would want to f*** them. They are just sexually repressed and like to vent their frustration on an obvious target that can not reach out and smack them in their faces.

Exactly. I remember in the 1st inning when Wright was getting shelled, Eck or Remy made the comment that Cora was sticking with Wright because with Knucklers a guy who is getting lit-up can turn it around in the next inning and be effective. Cora did this but f***ed up when it was clear the shelling was going to continue. Using the Eck/Remy rule, Wright should have been pulled no later than at some point in the 3rd inning as I seem to remember. No big deal. s*** happens. But Cora will have to learn to identify the times when Wright will suck and make a move earlier to replace him.

This topic has been talked about enough. Some feel resigning the dope was a decent and reasonable move for 13 mil. I don't agree. He was never going to be an ace at that point. His promise of elite pitching was only demonstrated for brief periods and then he was either injured or he sucked again. This would leave a void at mid-season. Necessitating bringing in another stiff to fill in for him. Not exactly a bargain. And really, those that say it was a reasonable move at the time have been proven wrong once again. LOL!!! Hanley is the only one to blame for being associated with the drug guy. Therefore whatever comes from that "friendship" that adversely affects Hanley is his responsibility.

No Kimmi I am saying just the opposite. Hanley was stupid to associate with this person. I do not believe that he knew this scumbag was running drugs. That is his own fault. He made the choice to hang with this "bud", a fellow countryman. All the while he had no knowledge of him being a criminal. That is just plain f***ing stupid. If he had knowledge that the guy was moving drugs he is even stupider. But I never said that he did know. The guy is a f***ing dumb f*** either way.

Doesn't he own a home in the Miami area? He gets paid by the Sox in the US and Florida has no income tax. Miami has a huge Hispanic population and is the closest big city to the DR. All legit reasons for him to want to return to the US.

Hmm. Hanley is guilty of associating with a scum drug dealer. This situation is of his own doing. If he had not been friendly with this drug dealer the reporter would have had nothing to report. The guy has made over 140 mil from what I have read. My heart pumps piss for him. I was hoping he would catch-on with a team this season and would at least partially resurrect his career. I think he can still hit well enough to contribute. But now he is on the outside looking in and is probably done. He is presently playing golf and having a nice life ( from what he posts on FB, anyway ).

One would hope so. But I am not so sure. The Sox owners are very image conscious. Of course the best thing to do is for them to keep their pie holes shut whatever the situation. Suggesting that the Sox released this story for their own gain is conjecture to be sure. But the sacks of s*** have been guilty of besmirching players and staff on their way out of town. You can never be sure with those rich boy pricks.
