  1. No s***. This is a disgrace.
  2. I don't feel rage about Kelly. But I expect Farrell to know much more than I do. And I could see Kelly was not effective. I do think that Kelly will be a hell of a one inning reliever.
  3. I see that this reliever has good numbers and all. I'd just like to see the Sox keep their feet on the throttle and score more runs.
  4. Nice grab by Pillar. Brock was robbed.
  5. f*** me and the horse I rode in on. Off to Pawtucket! f*** Farrell and his 7 run rule.
  6. If Kelly comes out for the 6th I'm gonna' drive to Boston and stick a used butt plug in Farrell's mouth. Of course I do not possess a butt plug. And I do not use them. I may be a while as I'll have to drive to Pawtucket first.
  7. A single for the Cuban rookie!!! Give that man a cigar. A Dominican cigar.
  8. I'd have to agree with that at this point. That and his child's maladies. At the time my gripe was more with the Sox spending so much for him and his performance relative to the dollars. I got reamed for it on Talksox. Since then I have come to grips with the Sox spending money ina fashion that I see as unnecessary. Drew was one of the best defensive RF I have seen in a Sox uni. And he was a pro at the plate. It was not his fault the Sox were stupid with their money.
  9. The 3rd base ump looks wicked young.
  10. And he was well paid for it too!!!
  11. Have a drink and calm down my friend. You've been down this road. No biggey.
  12. I raged on "Nancy" a bunch. But he did have a classic swing. I sort of miss him now.
  13. I saw it. How is that a blooper? I know that you don't think that it is. That was big effort with no reward. He was not able to catch up with the ball and sacrificed his body. This team needs more guys like him. A LOT MORE!
  14. And I have met the kid. He is one of the best mannered and respectful people I have ever met. Intelligent and one f***ing funny bastard. I don't hold it against him that he looks like Kevin Durrant.
  15. Love me some Moookie. He is always fun to watch. Yes I know he's having some problems. Just part of learning the MLB game. This kid is special. I listened to the first inning while driving home. When I tuned in Reyes was gunned down. The offensive eruptus from the Sox. My Daughter asked me "The Sox are winning? No way!".
  16. I agree Ted. I think both Farrell and Ben are here until the season is over and then something should be done. You know how much I am amused by sports talk radio!!!! Today while driving I had the good fortune to listen to Felger and Mazz. Talk about being on acid! Felger proposed firing Farrell and bringing in Ozzie Guillin ( sp ). Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
  17. This is all true. However I doubt that they will get much for him in any case. I have no confidence in the FO's ability to swing good deals. Other than Hannigan and Rodriguez, the Sox have not made good deals recently.
  18. I agree with everything in this post. But we both realize that the Sox will not sit Miley now. JBJ is most likely going to yield $.20 on the dollar in trade and the Sox will pull the trigger. Dumb f***s.
  19. I don't think that the Sox will make any big moves at the deadline. I think that you are right, Ted. I would hope that they at least test the waters for a youngish controllable arm while unloading some reserve talent or low rated prospects. I have no idea who those pieces would be. The Sox are in a pickle. They better hope that Sandoval and Hanley produce more and for a long time. The same can be said for Miley and Porcello.
  20. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that yielding Porcello ( and subsequently lavishing him with $20. mil/yr "unproven" ) was the best situation. I am not a huge fan of Cespedas as you all know. But when he said that he was not likely to return to Boston in 2016 he pretty much punched his ticket out of town. That is on him. The clowns in the FO only played salvage after that. And, there is no way in hell Cespedas can be compared to Manny. Manny was a special talent even with his "quirks". At no point in his career has Cespedas shown that he would provide anywhere near the production and even value that Manny did. Cespedas may be a professional baseball player. But that does not mean that he would have acted professionally while in Boston. That was obvious immediately when he refused or "declined" to play right field upon arrival. I wish that the Sox had done better homework on the guy. Maybe they could have gotten more or better for 1/2 season of Lester. In any case, it's milk over the dam at this point. Just more moves that have not worked out, unfortunately.
  21. So keeping Cespedas was a good idea when he said that he did not wish to play here? Okay. Got it.
