Except that Fat boy's actions were in direct violation of team rules. Farrell announced that not messing with devices after 6:40 on night games is the team policy. The idiot liked a ho'c pic on Instagram in the 7th inning with the Sox at bat. How anyone can see this as permissible is beyond me. This guy is not going to work out in this town. Largely ( pun intended ) unproductive at bats, lousy - average defense at 3rd, can't beat out a double, and now he is joking around with pussy on-line during a game. But wait! He's a great WS performer!!!!!! Eat about 7 mil of his annual contract and ship him somewhere his poor play and hijinks will be tolerated. f*** him with a pineapple sideways.

I'm not sure. Of the eight buildings where I live, 5 have service and three don't have service. My s*** luck. It may be something underground. If so I'll go get cable and say screw it. I heard today that they hope to have it back working again Thursday or Friday. I doubt it.

Nothing about the ASG is an issue to me. It's just not that important. Although I do find it dumb that 8 players from the Royals will start.

From what I read back during the time before he was signed is that several teams were in on him. So there is the Sox defense, I guess. The Sox paid a premium price for an unproved talent that was too old to be considered a prospect. He was slotted to be in the bigs almost instantly after not having played in about 1.5 years. Long ago I saw an interview where Ben said that most of what the Sox had seen of Castillo was in the World Baseball Classic. Lol. I just don't see the logic in paying so much for an older player that has not played much and who is in need of learning new skills to play MLB ball. It was just dumb. At least Moncada or whatever his name is will play several years of MiLB ball before he gets called up. The Sox seem to be in on the Pet Rocks and Cabbage Patch Kid international FA. They should sign more guys like Tazawa and sign them to modest contracts or not sign them at all. Glad it's not my money!
