    I don't follow your idea here Bell. I am speaking of watching all these players for many games. Not just the playoffs or WS. Fat boy got hot in the playoffs but from what I have seen of the three players he blows goats in comparison.

    Before you all jump on my fat ass about that, Boggs was a great contact hitter and he made himself into the best defensive 3rd baseman I had seen in Sox uni until Lowell and of course Beltre.

    Sandoval reminds me of Wade Boggs. Most of his hits are of little consequence.

    Yup. Even radical moves can't turn this around. In the mean time I'm going to continue to watch the young nucleus of this team. Aside from Castillo who is most likely going to be the next bust du jour, the rookie types are very fun to watch.

    Miley has pitched very well today. No HRs!!!!!!! Just some average hits and weak hits. Hope the Pen can keep them from scoring ANY runs. Miley deserves to have a win and a good outing.

    Yes if the Manager was the problem. Getting rid of a manager mid-season won't likely do much to right this ship. Changing players may.

    Who knows? He did burn some bridges there. It is worth looking into. The big thing is if the ownership of the Sox have the ability to admit they were wrong and act divisively to undue the mistakes. I doubt it.

    That is a best case scenario. It does happen. I saw this with Joe Morgan. I'd rather the Sox own their mistakes and get rid of guys like Panda.

    So I'm stuck watching the game on line again. This time I have the Atlanta feed. They were just saying that in SF Panda was weighed each day and that The Sox do not do this. So, they say that Panda has gained 32 pounds since opening day!!! I have no idea how they got that number but you can see that he has become noticeably more rotund since he got here. They should try to trade him.

    I'm still not sure that the Sox FO will can Farrell during the season. Especially after giving him an extension. But it is getting interesting to see what they will do.

    I see the same but you have been paying stricter attention of most of the years than I have. It's just horrendously bad. And as you said, they are not even playing exciting ball.
