  1. Exactly. The jump from A to AA is significant. He should be fine.
  2. I don't remember hearing this. He dislocated his kneecap. Who thought that injury was a quick fix?
  3. That is one very good reason. And the guy is a bold faced liar. No honor or integrity.
  4. This may seem like a reasonable thing to do except when you consider how long it has taken to reshape him into a decent mid-reliever. This team is desperate for any back end pitching. I say leave him where he is.
  5. The Sox are circulating the toilet. This season can be gone in the blink of an eye. They need to rip off a string of wins. GO SOX!!1!!!
  6. So we can now look forward to Buch returning to the rotation. Oh joy.
  7. I wonder how many games out of 1st the Sox will be at the break?
  8. I'm with you on that Sistah!
  9. Oh, I am not disagreeing with you at all. To me, the Nomar situation turned very sour so fast that I did not see his departure coming. Too bad. He was one f***ing great player. And he was always nice to me and my Son.
  10. Winning is much more fun than losing. I am full of such profundities.
  11. Holt, while having resumed on-field activities, is still a mess. Three days ago Farrell offered that he is not sure about Holt's ability to make in-game decisions and that he is still somewhat dizzy. Holt won't be back anytime soon. Probably not within three more weeks. He could remain damaged for longer. Just my opinion. As far as I know, you can't get "treatment" in the clubhouse for a bruised brain. Who knows about Swihart. His hard boot was removed but he is still in a walking cast. Or whatever! Blake is another candidate for a lost season. I hope not.
  12. Your idea is as valid as assuming that he juiced! And who would not be bitter having to wake up next to that androgynous dyke?
  13. I'm with you on this. Imagine if the brakes on my Toyota had not been working well. This conversation would never had happened!
  14. So a magazine cover photo is now conclusive evidence that Nomar juiced? I don't get it. Has any substantial and creditable evidence been offered?
  15. Okay. I'll take the plunge. Will we see another lamb to the slaughter tonight or will we get some useful innings out of this kid? He does have some MLB starting experience, I believe. 4 era in sss. Time to right the f***ing ship boys! GO SOX!!!1!1!1
  16. Indeed. I have been thoroughly engrossed.
  17. And if he is healthy now ( why the knee brace? ) he is still f***ed up with only two pitches. Back to AAA if he sucks in his next start.
  18. Yes. And your insight is very interesting. I was not attacking your opinion. If this kid was 22 and coming off strong college performance I would still be somewhat skeptical. He has not thrown a single pitch as a pro.
  19. I don't argue that!
  20. I recall predicting that this knee injury would be more significant than originally thought. I suggested that this may become a lost season for him. At this point, I am closer to being correct than not correct.
  21. I have no problem with what you have said except: "Now Elias is in your rotation as well, and he has been abysmal to this point at all levels." Didn't he just have 3-4 dominant starts in AAA? The Sox are still f***ed, but hey, we still have some hope. Clay will be starting again soon.
  22. The kid deserves strong coaching and a quick kick in the ass. He may be "only" 23 but this is his chance. He has regressed since last year. Talking with David Price apparently is not enough. One more shot and then back down to Pawtucket with is dumb ass.
  23. It's nice to fantasize about what someone like Groome could become. He is only 17 and a good 4-5 years away from the bigs. There is a significant chance that he flames out or just never develops enough. Let me know when he hits AA.
  24. Some team will grab him.
