    To me it's a no brainer to temporarily hope for the Yankees to defeat The Os and the Jays because my team has to go through those two teams to get to the promised land. Plus, I'm pretty tight with God. I may sin, but he does not grade on a scale.

    Of course the other side of the coin is that E-Rod has sucked pond water so far. So this outing was much better. And the Yankees still have Beltran, Tex Horseface, Gardner, McCann, and even Ells, and A-Rod. Not all chopped liver. And you do have a good manager. Cashman has his work cut out for him.

    No. Of course not. I'm not qualified to do so. And that is my point. That no one here has that ability. Now if you want me to guess, I would say Kopech finishes the year at Salem and starts next year in Portland or possibly he gets called up late this year. After that, I see a long adjustment period until he demonstrates great command. He won't be blowing people away with his heat as much, otherwise. AA hitters will expose him to the best bats he's seen. Maybe he hits Boston in late 2018? I'm probably way off. I am guessing based on what top end talents seems to do. He has the physical tools to be good. But his brain has not cooperated. Who knows?

    BOS: Rodriguez (1-3 , 8.59 ERA) vs. NYY: Sabathia (5-6 , 3.77 ERA) 4:05 start. Yup. This is a biggy. Our two pitch wonder vs. the not so fat anymore Sabathia. I am hoping that two starts in Pawtucket have shown E-Rod how to throw three pitches and how to not tip any of them. I'm not confident. I have begun to think that E-Rod is about as smart as Buch. In any case, we still have Farrell and his 7 run rule to save us! Sox bats come alive and pound the s*** out of the Yankees. GO SOX!!!!1!!!
