    Does it really matter what Johnson is ranked? Maybe to those that hold hope of trading him for Sale or another piece of what is called in Motorsports "Inubtainum". To me, I want the kid healthy and back on track to the big leagues. Ranking means s*** when we need organic arms.

    I have no problem with Price starting the 8th. I merely posed it as an option. I would have pulled him after the dinger or certainly after one guy got on.

    Why get greedy? He threw 7 dominant innings and his pitch count was nearing exit time. Why push it? Farrell's answer was "He had a chance at a shutout." How about bringing in a rested arm to start the 8th? How about saving Price's arm for later in the season? They had a 4 run lead. Bring in a fresh arm and shut them down or hold them to under 4 runs. Just dumb.

    Precisely. Should have had a reliever up and tossing entering the inning. What was the goal here? To get Price a complete game? To save the pen? No. The goal was to win. Farrell was a dumb f***. He is too slow to react.

    Now I've got Matt Clement Syndrome.

    I've been lobbying for about two seasons that he should be moved to 1st or 3rd because he is so athletic and has that great bat. Why beat his kind of talent to s*** behind the plate? Just because a catcher that can hit is more valuable than a 1st baseman who can hit? I have no idea what they plan to do with him. But he should be playing in MLB every day.

    Swihart has always been the player with the highest ceiling in my opinion. In fact, I see him as the #1 prospect on the 40 man. And he has shown the ability to adjust at the plate against MLB pitching. He has great foot speed combined with gap / doubles power. The kid is one of the very best pure athletes on the team. But a couple of dropped pop-flies and well - he sucks, trade him! The Sox will really regret trading this guy and most Sox fans who notice will eventually be f***ing pissed. He is also seen as a leader among his fast friends on the team. I say that is one intangible that could really have a positive effect on the moral of the team going forward with even more youth.
