  1. Edelman was already taken.
  2. Boston22407 is up, but since he has at least one missed pick, y228 can pick if he's online.
  3. I agree with the group. RSFFL can put up a lot of points on any given night, but his team doesn't have the defense to stop teams from putting up greater numbers on a nightly basis. While YH's offense isn't great, it's certainly good enough to beat RSFFL's defense. If this was a fantasy basketball matchup where points, rebounds, etc determined who would win, then I'd go with RSFFL, but in a real basketball game with defense involved, I'd take YH's team.
  4. HAHA, WhiskeyBreath, not only was he already taken, but YOU were the one who took him.
  5. He was taken already.
  6. Youker is up, but since he has picks to make up, WhiskeyBreath can make his pick.
  7. I don't know about that, but if the injury thing wasn't in effect, then you'd have a greater shot of winning. I wouldn't guarantee that you'd win though.
  8. For the record, I was using the ">" buttom for formatting, so ">>>" was no different than ">" or ">>" in terms of saying who was better. For example, I wasn't using ">>>" to imply that someone was much better, or 3 times better than the other person. I just wanted to make the "" more visible. Similarly it was ytrb who came up with (and snuck in) the no injuries/assume everyone is healthy thing. One can't get mad at us for applying it.
  9. Don't think so, you should only have 1 pick remaining, and we're halfway through the last round. I think we're at Kilo/MSU's turn. Also, I believe that the only ones that need to make up picks are boston22407, youker, and Divinity
  10. With that said, just because Flynnatic is the first one eliminated does not mean that he has the worst team. He was power ranked 8th out of the 12 teams.
  11. I just hope that the voting goes as smoothly as it did for the NBA draft.
  12. Originally I would have said that you were nuts for picking him (not necessarily the player as it would be the position), but considering that your KR/PR is a RB, that helps your cause, and makes you less nuts. Plus he is a decent player, especially considering the time and round he was taken. Kilo/MSU are up.
  13. We'll get it settled when RSFFL is on.
  14. I did tell him the rules, however when I had messaged him the teams, you still had Ariza. Anyway he put you 3rd. I also put you 3rd, but since I messaged the rankings to you, you already know that.
  15. Looks like it was RSFFL, but it wasn't on the chart, so he must not have known it so he ended up taking Stephen Tulloch later. We'll have this checked out in the morning.
  16. My pick by pick shows that he was taken in round 20 right after I took Terrence Cody, I'll look for it in the thread and bump it up.
  17. He doesn't seem to be on the chart. I swear he was taken as I have him listed on my chart. I have him taken sometime between EJ Henderson (my pick) and Brandon Spikes. I'll investigate. For now, you can have him, but look for a back up in case I do find that he was taken.
  18. Bart Scott has been taken already.
  19. On another note, I had my friend look at all of the teams (like he did in the baseball draft) and I didn't tell him which team was mine. So I had him rank all of the teams and his rankings were similar to the power rankings. If anyone is interested, I can post them as well.
  20. In my opinion, I think Coco has a better frontcourt and Flynnatic has a better backcourt. Andrew Bynum >> Brook Lopez (since injuries don't count, otherwise I'd take Lopez since he's on the court) Kevin Love >>> Joakim Noah Kevin Durant >> Ron Artest (although Ron Artest is underrated defensively, but Durant is one of the best players in the NBA, imagine what he will be in 3 years) but Monta Ellis and Rodney Stuckey So I think that Coco has a better starting 5, but one of the 2 positions that Flynnatic is superior in is one of the more important positions in the game. Note how the Heat are a game or two above .500 with LeBron, Wade, and Bosh but without a point guard. The benches are pretty good as well, but I like the potential of Coco's bench more. I think that Flynnatic's bench is more balanced and a lot in the way of shooters, but I think that Martin, Deng, and Beasley have the potential to be dominant bench players. I think that George Hill is underrated (as a Spurs fan) and I think that Flynnatic dominates the point position. I think that Flynnatic has a small victory in the SG position, but I'm basing that on Gordon's potential with Crawford and that Ellis is inconsistent and plays a different style of game from Stuckey. That said, I think that Coco sweeps the SF, PF, and C spots, assuming that Bynum stays healthy. Since injuries aren't a factor here, I can't deduct from Coco for Bynum (like I can't deduct from ytrb for Yao Ming) so the edge goes to Coco there. Originally, I would have said that Coco had the better team hands down, but now that I look at it, it's closer than I originally thought. I think that Coco still wins, but it really does deserve to be an 8 vs. 9 matchup, rather than the 9 vs. 4 matchup I thought it would be.
  21. Coco is still up and Divinity still has 2 makeup picks.
  22. So which matchup are we starting with first?
