    He should be. They signed Zaun recently so I think they might hold Wieters back until late April or June so he doesn't get a full year of service time in.

    I think it will be Tek and I'm hoping he will be. My ideal scenario even though it seems unlikely will be to sign Tek for a year or maybe 2 and trade for a catching prospect.

    And I'm just letting the people that want Ortiz to be traded know how dumb it would be.

    I want my 3-4 hitter to drive in runs in those situations. I don't want him to be like Dunn and have his avg. drop 20 points and slugging fall, while he walks more. Sorry, but good 3-4 hitters thrive in those situations and all of their numbers improve. Going from Ortiz to Dunn at DH would be a GIGANTIC mistake.

    I was talking about Ortiz. Someone had mentioned that Ortiz be shipped out and have Dunn step in as DH.

    Good numbers but pretty much all of his stats except OBP are worse when he is hitting with RISP. Usually a good player has better stats across the board when he is in that situation.

    Dunn is a lifetime .225 hitter with RISP. Just another reason to avoid this guy.

    I'm with ya on this. God forbid the guy's power numbers aren't like his previous seasons after he was battling a wrist and knee injury.

    I could get on board with trading Lowell if it meant we were getting a guy like Teixeira on the team but for Dunn? No thanks.

    I hate him. The guy was running around like he's a bad ass because he knew Looch wasn't there to pound his face in.

    There hasn't been a single player in MLB history that has received 100%. Some of those damn voters shouldn't be allowed to vote on the hall anymore.
