  1. You're out of your mind. He out performs his team friendly salary every single year. He's a steal at $4 mill.
  2. The only way I would want Pena back is if opposing pitchers only throw him fastballs and he doesn't have to play defense.
  3. I think I remember hearing McAdam said that Pedro's agent contacted the Sox and was told that they had no interest because there wasn't room for him. I've always been a huge Pedro fan and would love to see him back in town but it's not going to happen. I hope he signs with a team in the NL and has a great year.
  4. I can't believe they just lost to Phoenix. :thumbdown
  5. I like the moves. Recchi will move PJ off of the power play and he has a left handed shot. Also, I think Thornton won with Anaheim a few years back.
  6. I'd like Pedro to come back to Boston but there isn't room for him. I wonder if Pedro would be better off pitching out of the pen to keep himself healthy?
  7. I hope Cassel does well in KC.
  8. I like the addition of Marbury. House will no longer have the burden of having to carry the ball up the court now. Also, I'm pretty sure they have a roster spot available. I really doubt Smith comes to Boston. He actually wants to stay on that crap team.
  9. I have a fantasy hockey team ranked in the top 200 right now
  10. I don't think Bay will be in the 4 spot.
  11. I heard he's also a nasty golfer.
  12. Who will start in the OF for NY? Will Swisher or Nady be traded before the start of the season?
  13. Sounds good. Toss a message my way if there is a spot open for me.
  14. The Bruins have been so good this year because they are an extremely deep team. The Bruins don't rely on just one or two guys to make their offense go. They can survive a playoff series where their top two points leaders go into a scoring drought because they are getting great play from all four lines. Just look at all of the injuries they have sustained and never missed a beat.
  15. Mike Lowell is one of the most professional guys in the league. I'm positive he won't let this off season get in the way of 2009. I felt bad for the guy because he took less money to remain in Boston and had to go through the trade rumors this winter. It is a business though and he knows that.
  16. If you guys need another team I am interested. I know I'm new here but you can count on me to stick with the team the entire season. Let me know, thanks.
  17. I'm just pointing out the fact that he did indeed catch him at one point in time. That's all.
  18. Tek used to catch Wake.
  19. What is George Kottaras? He's a career minor leaguer imo.
  20. He has DH/1B written all over him. Even more so than Salty. I think a Salty trade would already have been made by now if the Sox were convinced he could be a catcher in the long term.
  21. The Mayor was a good guy. One of the slowest players I've ever seen though haha.
  22. I like the proposed deal. I would like to see him back for at least one more year.
