    Ummm... apparently they're forgetting that at the very worst, we've got Lester to pitch Game 5 and he just came off a dominant performance yesterday. And I suspect Peavy will deliver a light's out game on Saturday night. He is ready to show he's not what he was in game 4 of the ALCS. As for the talking douches at ESPN... amazing how one game can sway everyone's mind so quickly. f*** them all.

    Someone in the FO has to tell Farrell to stop managing by his gut and get back to what got us here... matching up players to the scenarios in which they have the best chance for success. Gomes has no business starting every game in this series with Nava batting .300 on the season. He has to play in the next game at the very least.

    It just doesn't make any f***ing sense at all... I get Gomes brings energy, but you have to play to strengths and Nava has the ability to present challenges for this right handed heavy lineup.

    I do what I can. If I do nothing else as a parent than guarantee she'll learn to hate the Yankees with a never-ending passion and love the Red Sox with an equal amount of passion, I can die a happy man. Passing on wisdom for life is great... passing on a love for the Sox is beyond words. It's my most important job as a father IMO....

    I'm right with you... Not sure if I'll get any sleep tonight. Was so close to dragging the wife and daughter outside to spray champagne on everyone despite it being 30 degrees outside until I remembered that would be best saved for a moment following our next four wins. Woke my daughter up anyway after Vic's homer so she could see them clench the pennant. 4 yrs old now and she danced with me when Koji shut them down. Loved every minute.
