  1. No s***... McCarver is a f***ing joke
  2. A-God!!!! Wow!!!
  3. Me too... tried to guess which two teams have the shittiest stadiums to watch a game as a fan... Florida and Tampa were the first to come to mind.
  4. Pete Abraham is saying Beckett's knee was sore during his warmup. Not much more than that as of yet.
  5. Never said he was terrible... just that he hasn't lived up to the front of the rotation billing as of yet in Chicago. I'd love to put together a deal for him... preferably one that doesn't involve us giving up our best prospects though.
  6. That return in a trade would make more sense if we going after a starting pitcher that's underperformed a bit this year, Garza being a good example. Not for a half season rental in right field making a ton of cash that's almost certain to hit the wall age wise in the near future.
  7. Why? Because he swung at a 3-0 pitch? f*** that... Gregg was deliberately trying to hit him on all 3 pitches before that and he sucks so bad he couldn't even do that right. I'd take offense to it as well. If you're going to try to exact some revenge by hitting our guy, at least do it the right way... first pitch of the at bat, slow changeup right to the thigh or side of the stomach. Case closed. Guarantee if Gregg had done that, none of this would have happened. Papi got the green light from Francona and he swung. Missed it enough to pop out but Gregg just had to go and run his stupid f***ing mouth instead of just turning around and being happy that he got Papi out. The Orioles are a s*** organization from top to bottom. I hope we bury their asses again today.
  8. In case anyone missed it, here's what Gregg had to say following the game... "It's 3-0, they're up seven. You know, I think there are some ethics to this game, guidelines that you got to stay within," Gregg said. "You know, run. You hit a lazy fly, you've got to run the bases. Apparently he didn't like me telling him that stuff and he came out there. That's part of the game, he has the right to come out there, and I'm going to defend myself if he comes out." "They're going to whine and complain about it because they think they're better than everybody else, but no, we have just as much right to pitch inside as they do. "I think we showed them we're not backing down. We're not scared of them, them and their $180 million payroll, we don't care. We're here to play the game, we have just as much right to play the game here, and we're going to do everything we can to win." All I'm going to say is that Gregg can eat s*** and die. What the f*** has he ever done? Be a s*** pitcher for a s*** team and wear stupid ass f***ing goggles that make him look like a giant douchebag when he's on the mound? f*** him... and his garbage team. Hopefully he gets in the game tomorrow and we drill a liner off his fat f***ing head.
  9. Obviously you don't... when you start your own Red Sox forum you can make the rules. Until then, have some respect for the ones we have here.
  10. Apparently this is their first foray around here...
  11. that's f***ing hilarious... well done
  12. That's easy... Ortiz Love his bat but Gonzo plays gold glove defense and has extensive experience hitting against quality NL pitching. No way we can take him out of the lineup. Perhaps Ortiz will get 1 game out of the 3. No more.
  13. Nice start for Lester... really want to see him have a dominating game today instead of the grind he's had lately.
  14. They could go that route... only problem with that is 1. Reyes will be a free agent next year and expects a Carl Crawford like payday. Not going to happen, especially not from the Sox; and 2. The Mets will undoubtedly want a big haul back for trading away Reyes and that would undoubtedly start with Iglesias when it comes to the Sox. No way we trade him now after sending away 2 of our best prospects to SD for A-God last winter. If the Sox make a move it will be for pitching (starting and relief) and/or a role bat. Not much else really that we need that's worth giving up the farm to get.
  15. True... problem is, Scut can't play everyday and I don't think Iggy is ready just yet. That leaves us with Lowrie, who clearly has issues right now. Personally, Tito needs to platoon Lowrie and Scut until one or the other gets rolling big time.
  16. Too bad O-Cab struck out looking and then got himself ejected arguing with the ump... damn Skanks getting off their skid so soon... was hoping for a few more losses against Cleveland
  17. Well considering his glove is attached to his hand which is attached to his arm which is attached to his shoulder, there could be some correlation between the two. :harhar: I was commenting more on his offense than his defense though... clearly something isn't right both mentally and physically right now which is affecting him at the plate and in the field. Hence my desire to have him go on the DL for a bit to get right
