    Steve Avery was a bust? Did anyone expect jack s*** out of him. Carl Everett came here and was lauded with chants of "MVP." Did Coco come in here and underperform? Not really. He stayed basically the same player. Offerman was a POS who everyone knew was overpaid even before he got off the bus. Arrojo? What's the point in mentioning him? Drew isn't a bust, just mildly overpaid. Beckett was a bust? Without him there'd be no 07. The sox have tons of money. If they overpay for players, it's fine by me.

    Yes, he could reach from first, but his noodle arm doesn't provide enough velocity. I think he's nothing more than a 2b. I think it's more likely that Shitaro lands at 3b and Lowrie is at SS.
